Illumination of urban areas must combine technical performance
with aesthetic quality, even during hours of natural light. This
solution installed along the seaside in Barcelona represents a classic
situation where the lighting elements are installed in sequence, thus
becoming part of the global perception of the place. Design and
performance quality are the most relevant characteristics of any
equipment installed in this type of setting, which shall not emit
visible light beyond the horizon according to the most recent
standards regulating light pollution.
The Horizon series was designed giving particular attention to the needs of
urban furnishing. The Horizon lamps are available in two sizes, a wall mounted
model, and one with a particular base for the lighting of building facades.
The supporting structures are designed to simplify maintenance procedures.
