Documentation
The software is designed to calculate, elaborate and verify in detail the quality and level of lighting of a specific area; of horizontal, vertical and slanted surfaces; and of all furnishings.
The intuitive Windows interface, available in several languages, makes the software easy to use.

General Characteristics
Light Performer 1.5 consists of five modules: Litecalc, Liswin, Lisman, Photowin and Lisdat.
LITECALC is a module that allows 2D and 3D lighting design. The geometric data of the area can be imported and exported using DXF files.
Litecalc performs technical calculations that verify the choices made during planning stages by using rendering techniques achieved through the application of a two-step algorithm that first calculates radiosity and then ray tracing.
The simulated environment can be visualised from different angles.
LISWIN is the electronic catalogue module of Light Performer 1.0 that can search the technical parameters of different products on different levels. It creates customised technical sheets that carry all project data in a printable format. Through the management of the data of the luminaires, the user can insert price lists and create lists of products that can be imported into Lisman.
LISMAN is the cost estimate module that can import product lists from Litecalc and Liswin, even selectively by breaking down codes. It automatically generates Excel files with metric calculations, lists of the luminaires chosen with their relative lumens and prices, which can be organised in groups according to the area.
PHOTOWIN manages the photometrics of the products, and contains the archives organised into three groups: luminaires, calculations, and lamps. It allows the manual entry of photometric data or automatic importation of data in the following formats: Eulumdat, Cibse TM14, IESNA86-91-95, LTLI, FDB or from photogoniometers. It also allows the conversion from one format to another (C-g to V-H and vice versa or between standard formats, like Emuldat, IESNA 86-91-95, Cibse TM14 and LTLI) and enables user to display polar, Cartesian and brightness diagrams (Soellner diagrams).
LISDAT manages product data from the catalogue of luminaires and allows for manual data entry and importation from MSAccess files.
